How does Perfect DJ compare to a normal DJ?
Perfect DJ is similar in concept to a regular live DJ in that we provide all of the gear, audio, lights & fog. The main difference is that the tracks, shoutouts and requests are all controlled by a realistic AI DJ based on your Party Plan.
What locations do you cover?
We are planning to become a national Franchise with over 220 locations. We are currently limited to delivering around Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire but we plan to offer multiple locations soon. You could collect from anywhere but clearly this is dependent on how far you wish to travel.
What about a cost comparison with a normal DJ?
Anyone who has booked a DJ for a Saturday night knows they can cost upwards of £350, some even cost closer to £700. Perfect DJ is designed to offer a lifelike DJ experience at below half the cost. For example, most customers wouldn’t consider a DJ for a home party but we satisfy this need for just £99. Most larger parties will fit into the 80-120 people size and our cost is well under £200 but for the best gear available.
Tell me about the Party Plan
You start your journey by creating a complete party plan. We ask you to fill in a simple form about what is the celebration, dates, times, location, who will attend and all your music preferences. this will create a plan for the party which you can edit or adjust later. We use this plan as the basis for your party. You can edit the Party Plan at any time up till your actual party.
I am worried about needing technical skills to set up my party
There is no need to worry about needing any technical skills or even needing to transport of carry any heavy gear. Everything is manageable with two people and all the gear needs is to connect to mains power. We have produced video’s of novices setting up parties easily.
Do you deliver the gear or do I collect?
You have the option when you plan your party to collect the gear or have it delivered. For example, a home party (one speaker, one laser light and one fog) at just £99 can easily fit into a medium family car. A bigger party for 80 people can fit into an SUV. You also have the option to pay just £50 and have the gear delivered.
How do Guest Requests work?
When you create your party we give you a QR code your guests can scan which takes them to a short form for them to enter their name, the track requested and a short shoutout message to the crowd. Our AI system will schedule the request and put your shoutout through the AI DJ personality to make it sound like a real DJ intro!
Can I control the party?
Yes, you will have a dashboard login and you can control the party from your phone or tablet. You can start, stop, pause, make shoutouts, switch between sections and request specific tracks as well. We give you complete control.
Will the system be loud enough?
Our wireless speakers are 1,000 watts of sublime power. They can be fantastically loud and clear for your party. For example just one speaker for a home party will fill the whole house with sound. Two or more speakers fill a very large room.
Are the lights good and easy to use?
In a single word, YES! Our Gigalights have 8 different lights on each and include lasers. fully 360 rotational spotlights that dance with your music, strobes and floor/wall patterns. What’s more we provide an easy to use crank handle stand that you place the lights on at waist height and wind up to above 2.2M to fill your room with ambience.
Tell me about Room Tuned Sound
Room Tuned Sound is an optional extra (just £20). When you set the speakers up you will use your mobile phone and a reference microphone (supplied by us and plugged into your phone USB-C port) to measure the room acoustics. We then make adjustments to the EQ to compensate for room reflections and resonances to stop booming and give you the very best professional sound.
Can I use my own playlist?
Yes, you can add the playlist link when you plan your party and we can add the tracks to your party plan. Remember our Perfect DJ AI party planner is an expert in building your party atmosphere so it’s best we use some of your playlist but change the order and maybe add some tracks to create the best vibe.
When do I get the gear and when is it returned?
You will generally receive or collect the gear the day before your party and it will be collected or you must return it the day after. This will all be in your Hire Agreement.
Can the system be used outdoors?
Yes but we insist the equipment must be under cover from rain. When you book we will take a security charge of £300 and if any equipment is damaged you will need to cover the cost so it’s best you take all protective measures.
How many guests can the system handle
We start at a home party for typically 30 people and our 8 speaker 8,000 Watt system will easily cater for 600 guests.
Can I upgrade my package after booking?
Yes, subject to equipment being available you can upgrade after booking.
Does Perfect DJ also do Karaoke?
It will have Karaoke soon. We are adding extra’s such as Music Bingo, Karaoke, Quiz and also Singles games too. Watch this space!
How far in advance shall I book?
To ensure the gear is available and reserved please book several months in advance. You can always try us last-minute in case we have some availability.
